I'm not so sure, it seems quite discriminatory to only recount the largest democratic counties. I think they will either demand that all counties of Florida are recounted or none of them are. The Secretary of State basically said that the only reason for a hand count would be faulty or defective counting machines.

Hey, do you think the Florida Supreme Court will insist that votes from democratic counties be recounted and those from republican counties go with the first count? I'm almost leaning to wanting to see gore get elected and have to explain for the next four years how he got to be in office.

The hand counts should NOT be allowed: way too subjective. "Let's see is that punched or isn't it? Well he meant to punch it but it didnt go through" etc.
Ridiculous. either the punched out part is out or it isn't...or WAS before hands helped pumch it further.
What nonsense this whole scenario is.
