Hi John: <OT>

Good to hear from you.

You stated:
Gore is the representative of 48.5% of those who bothered to vote. However some of those folks voted for butts, or dollars not sure Gore was the motive.<ggg>

Basically what I meant to say was these days the propaganda machines from both sides are working hard and either camp can make/alledge anything against the other camp. Republicans with their trail lawyers are going head-to-head against Democrats with their trial lawyers.

I am a strong Gore supporter, but not because I like him particularly but rather because I find him to be less self-rightous and less arrogant/obnoxious than George Bush. Also I find it quite strange and questionable why George Bush is so afraid of the hand count of ballots. His lead was set at 1800 before the recount by the machines, then after the recount by the machines it was proved to be only 300. Why is he afraid of recounting the ballots by hand (something that in software engineering we refer to as line-by-line debugging in order to accurately find and fix the bug with the underlying software). James Baker keeps talking about finalizing the process as soon as possible. That is nice, but 2 questions for him:

a) Since when time should stop a democracy to respect the will of every voter?

b) If he was wearing Gore's shoes would he still be playing the same music?!

Anyway, one way or another it will all come to a happy end.

Regards,

- Addi
