Joe,

CNN has left you in a state of confusion. Nobody has won anything in Florida.

I like this analogy better:

Ok, let's flip! Winner take all!!

Ok, to be fair, Two outa Three?
Okey, Be a man! Three out of Five?
Awe, come on, you're a betting man
Let's double the bet!! Five out of Seven!!!
......

:)

This is NOT within the Gore camp or the Bush camp to agree. This will be settled by the State of Florida, Saturday night; its Florida's electoral votes.

Jozef, Gore also wants ballots that were not made to be handcounted, to be handcounted. He is a poor loser, a flat non charismatic boring poor loser. if he had any personality he'd have won without dragging the country through this BS

Joe - RE: "My question is: what did he put on line?"

His desperation?

;)

Bush has now responded. Not surprisingly, he said no to recounts. I'm expecting a winner to be announced early Saturday.

BTW, did you happen to read an article that discussed exactly the law Bush signed in TExas about manual recounts? It kinda said comparing voting techniques in Texas to PB was apples to oranges. I can't find that article anymore..
