Gore gave a statement tonight where he said, there has been one automatic recount and we have asked for a manual recount. Every vote should be counted and if the Republicans want to recount the whole state, that's fine with me. I'll abide by the results of the manual recount.

I think this statement will go down well with the public. Contrary to the Jim Baker's line, it is not unusual for the losing candidate to ask for a manual recount when he loses by .005%.

Most of the american public will never accept the winner of this election without a full recount in Florida. Also discarded ballots are going to need to be checked. Every vote counts too much to ignore any of them.

Bush said "fair, accurate and final". Fine then why is he scared to have the state hand recount? That's the only fair, accurate and final way IMHO because these machines and thrown-out ballots are obviously less than accurate and fair. And things won't be final until this process is completed.
