Carl: I think you're wrong. The Supreme Court justices are scholars and judges. They were the ones that actually studied in college. They are well-learned and theoretically impartial. Besides, when you appoint someone to the bench, sometimes you get something a bit different than expected, i.e., when Ike appointed Earl Warren back in the '50s.

By the way, did you like the new "softer" look that Ms. Harris exhibited tonight? I'd put serious coin on the theory that she spent more time on her hair-do tonight than she did poring over the reasons for an extended hand-count deadline in the three counties. Ha ha ha.
