A died in the wool Republican I agree with you about this type of comment Don. It is intolerant, but no more so than the use of the word "liberal" in a pejorative sense by people that claim to have a handle on political positions they don't agree with. As to the Boy Scouts and Novell. Novell may be prohibited from contributing to any organization that doesn't follow certain guidelines. For example the company cannot contribute to a private organization that advocates discrimination. It probably cannot contribute to religious organizations that provide services only to their members and not to non-members. Etc. I don't think it is productive to criticize the company for following the law.
