When you get extremes in opinions, the truth may lie somewhere in-between. It would only require a slightly less rosy picture than the CEO's have painted to bring their stocks down. As investors, we are not entirely objective. We have a tendency to discount negative news, and believe only positive opinion that supports our own. That would explain some of the irrational and hateful attacks that are launched on posters who challenge the culture or tone of any given thread. Stocks priced for perfection are vulnerable. It is best to listen to all opinion, especially if it comes from someone who is paid a lot of money for that opinion, or analysis. Robert
