Pretty good letter by Crowe. I definitely see the perceived conflict of interest with respect to the expectation for payment.

Thanks for that letter, really makes one consider the conflict of interest issue. The solicitation of $100,000 "sponsorship" is troubling prior to dropping Level 3 from the list. Thank you.

I think Crowe has an excellent point about full disclosure. Anything that provides better insight into the nature of the recommendation would be enlightening to those considering an investment decision. Brings to mind the Grubman recommendation of ATT. If there are any potential conflicts of interest they should be made known...financial or otherwise. Will be interesting to hear Gilders response.
