<font color=lavendar>A smorgasbord for daytradersNTAP started at STRONG buy by Banc of America, QLGC also started as BUY and BRCD as BUY, with EMC as STRONG BUY. Lets watch them topple or try to reverse the obvious and expected downtrend. We're doing great we have about 1 month left before earnings short falls start proliferating. In this span we have to have a bottom, an uptrend, and then profit taking. A lot to ask for a bear market in the tech sector when solid gains on good volume for more than 2 days is something very elusive.

Jenna -- AMAT: I'm surprised this one is holding up so well today; I guess it really had all rosy expectations beaten out of it over the last several weeks. The quarter clearly was excellent, though a tad light on the top line. But its guidance was hardly encouraging: next quarter revenues flat; next quarter EPS flat to slightly down; and (worst of all) next quarter book-to-bill in the 1.1 range, down from more than 1.2 this quarter. If this ultimately gets interpreted as a first sign of weakness in the front-end semi equipment sector, look out!
