What the court said (IMHO) is that Harris is not empowered to stop the counts. Again, that does not mean that she has to accept the hand counts. She is empowered by State law to reject them, she is not empowered to stop them.

The court's apparent refusal to force her to accept them is a GOOD sign for Bush, as it indicates their unwillingness to create new law from the bench.

M2...I thought I read it was Republicans from Brevard County who were suing because it wasn't fair that other counties were hand-recounting and their county wasn't....I could be wrong there though....
