It is interesting that bush has already gained votes by partial hand recounts, and yet has managed to demonize the process of hand counting when it does not serve his own interest.

Geographically speaking, most of the country voted for Bush. Many people in the South and West have had it with being browbeat by New York/Washington/Hollywood.

The map that shows which counties Bush won looks strikingly like the American divide in 1860.
