ELECTION 2000: PRESIDENTIAL
RACE
Mike Williams - Cox Washington Bureau
Friday, November 17, 2000

sign-wielding, chanting demonstrators.

In a county known for high society, chic boutiques
and the oceanfront mansions of magnates and
tycoons, street protests have become all the rage.
