Verisign Spoiler 11/17/00 8:11 AM ET Just when I thought it would be safe to buy some Verisign (VRSN:Nasdaq) for a trade off of all of these new domain names, word comes out from China that the government there is limiting the number of Chinese firms that can assign Chinese-language Internet addresses. That was supposed to be a huge growth business for Verisign. The stock is well-offered on a day when I thought it would be well-bid.
