Higher than what? He doesn't have a percentage picked out yet! He has already flatly stated that HE DOES NOT SUPPORT THE 3% FIGURE. I find it remarkable that people don't listen. The figure being bantered about for MP recall is 25%.

I disagree. The fact is that MOST conceptions are spontaneously aborted for various reasons. Few make it past the first day or two. Simply choosing to do the same for one that successfully implants is not a big deal. It can be traumatic for the would-be mother for psychological reasons, because of the lost potential child and possibly because of religious baggage.

There is nothing in a two or three week old fetus that has anything to do with what we value in human life, unless one believes in a soul entering a fetus at conception. If lost potential is so abhorrent, we should all have sex more often because we don't want to waste that potential!

(Hmmm. I could use that one!) ;)
