It's hard for me to believe Gore is appealing this...but then again, it's like, once you're losing, you fight harder not to lose (as investors keep their plummeting stocks LOL)

But it ignores the impact on the country, and yes, his own future. Glug.

That is the exact thing that may, and I repeat MAY, be the deciding factor this time around. In all nature things will only take so much abuse then they rebel. I think that Americans may have finally had enough so that some change will come, not drastic because of the reasons you quoted, but some like uniformity..

But then again ???
