I do not believe in natural law. Law is whatever a society says it is. Society is a social compact- what it's members agree to, is what is. You can SAY there is natural law. Or that law devolves from any higher power you want- but I see absolutely no evidence for that. What I see, over history and across nations, is that law is what most people want it to be, or what the powerful people want it to be, nothing more and nothing less. And law, is usually a very basic form of behavior- more is almost always expected.

As for your black loser in Fl- why SHOULD I care? The election is over, it's in Fl. I don't pay much attention to Fl- except when they intrude themselves on the national consciousness- as they did in the Elian case- and then Fl seemed like a Banana republic- so no, I don't care very much about Fl or anyone in it. I don't ever expect to go there, I don't know anyone there, and I don't worry about it. I care about the things I can do something about, and WISH to do something about. I work hard for those issues- they may not be your issues, or they might be, but that wouldn't matter to me at all. I don't waste my time wringing my hands over things that are not in my bailiwick.
