The following I believe you have TigerPaw,FlapJack, Gore fashion made up! This has never been the case of military men anywhere. I see you were never one. The ties a spirit between men in the service may not be political, but it is definitely a fraternal trust that others would never understand.

They seemed quite content except for the fact that some of their friends had died on the Cole. But even that didn't bother them that much. Deaths are part of business when you're in the military.

These two sailors were both planning to re-enlist.
I understand the re-enlistment rate of those stationed overseas, especially in peace keeping roles, is higher than those who remain stateside. This directly contradicts the malaise theory of Cheney.
