The TX law has clear ascertainable standards within the statute. The FL law apparently leaves it up to the discretion of the board. That is what is at issue here.

That is not correct. Florida law has written standards which, by the way, are extremely similar to those of Texas.

Kind of negates all the Bush side's arguments against the manual recount doesn't it?

If they think a manual recount is unconstitutional in Florida, does that mean they are also unconstitutional in Texas, which has extremely similar standards? Is the manual recount still unconstitutional in Florida when Bush himself signed the bill in Texas that states a manual recount is prefereable?

And you have no opinion on the Republicans adding previously rejected ballots to their total in Seminole County? And you have no opinion on the fact they don't want rejected ballots allowed in other counties? And you have no opinion that they have done what they are now trying to prevent elsewhere?

Not to worry, I don't expect an objective response.

Hard to discuss these things with those who have a closed mind.
