Only the weak, the blind, the crippled and the retarded need labor unions. The rest of us want to work for a living and be rewarded for our skills, not because we hold a union card. Unions had their proper place in history. That I don't deny. Today they are obsolete because they thrive on mediocrity and are intolerant of the ambitious individual. If unions stuck with wages and benefits and stayed out of work rules I wouldn't have a problem with them. Union work rules have cost Americans millions of jobs.
