First it is primarily the Democratic counties that used the error prone ballots. Thus a greater likelihood of democrat pickups. Second, If the Republicans really really believed this they would have graciously accepted the Gore offer (meantime fighting behind the scenes to kill it as against the law). Bush would have looked like a hero, in accepting this offer. Counter these arguments if you can.
