Hi Vendit,

Regarding how the Dems hope to steal this election, you highlighted this quote:

· Third, he said, "the minute you're ahead, you stop and declare yourself the victor."

"After that, you don't want the ballots handled any more," Nolan said.....

My question is this. Isn't this an exact description of what the Secretary of State and the Republicans have attempted to do? Or to put it another way, is the pot calling the kettle black? Or, just possibly, are we in a contest to see which party can out-steal the other?

Fortunately, we have wiser and calmer heads in courts to adjudicate these matters. I'm a huge fan of letting the law take its course. No matter who eventually wins, it is the system which must prevail.

Best, Ray

Vendit - Re:"The manual vote recounts being insisted on by Democratic operatives in Palm Beach County, Fla., have been used for over 20 years to steal elections from Republicans, claim several GOP veterans of hand-recount election-upsets."

Unfortuneately Jr. Bush does not agree. He thinks that a manual recount should be given a preference and he signed in 1997 the Texas Law that says so:

"A manual recount shall be conducted in preference to an electronic recount." Sec. 212.005 (d)

The law was passed to confirm the procedure that allowed a Republican legislator to overtake a Democrat and win a seat after the recount.
