this is one of the most irresponsible acts of distortion and exaggeration I have ever witnessed in the media... the campaign to discredit election workers, the evil democrats and their plots to manipulate ballots.. war against the military... taped ballots... I've had enough. this has become a joke. one of the most pathetic things I have ever witnessed. republicans are fully hysterical in the media. never seen such desperation and ridiculous hyperbole. I actually liked bush as pretty much of a decent guy, but this has sure proved otherwise. this guy is no leader if he has allowed this to go on with his sanction.

Thanks for the links. Per one of these articles the following: Seminole County----Dem Activist files suit with court to disallow about 4700 absentee ballots in this predominantly Republican county. Claim to disallow not clear to me---something about registration numbers having been put on the ballots by Republican and not the voter. Would like to know more about his precise claim. Anyone know?? If these aren't disallowed then the activist calls for disallowing all absentees in Seminole Co. approx. 14,000 ballots. IMO or anyone else's opinion this is a major attempt at grabbing votes to put Gore over the top. If Gore happens to win the Presidency based on this suit---I truly don't see how a Republican Congress can work with him---knowing how he came by votes, disallowing absentees which would likely go to Bush. Re. the poll---Planetary or whatever----who else has done a poll in other countries----is this the only international poll---suspect there will be or are others. (And who was polled) Polling can be written and a given targeted population surveyed to get results a pollster wants. mj
