"The reason, I believe, that the Democrats did move so quickly in regard to Florida - and not whatever other states you are referring to - is because Florida's electoral votes are so crucial. Other states with close results don't have the # of electoral votes that are vitally crucial to the total # needed for a win" Ellen...that was exactly my point. Gore and everyone connected with him are constantly talking about the "will of the people" and how "every vote should count." They have appealed to the American people...depicting a process where these poor elderly people in Florida have been cheated out of their vote...and the Democrats are going to put it right. It's a disgrace...because what they are not saying is that "but we only want it to count where we know we will WIN...to heck with everybody else who may have lost their vote. It is selective and biased...and simply unfair to try mislead people this way. Fortunately there are many...who see if for what it is...even Democrats.
