Lie? A large part of the pre-election discussion concerned the expectation (right or wrong) that Bush would get 5 US SC appointments and he would appoint judges who would kill Roe v. Wade.

I personally know several women (and a few men) for whom this was THE prime consideration in deciding their vote.
