Obviously I am not into hype. << You see the gsm cabal is in deep kimshee >> They are? There is a cabal? Holy Cow! Is 3GPP a cabal? Do you then think that amongst the major carriers of the world that all but Verizon, Sprint PCS, KDDI, and perhaps KT Freetel, are members of the cabal? My word. Perhaps I invested in Qualcomm for the wrong reasons and did insufficient DD. You see, I invested in Qualcomm because in January 1998 the GSM community chose CDMA as the air interface for their 3rd generation technology, and I was every bit as confident then as I am now that Qualcomm has essential IP in any CDMA implementation. << Either they get with the program and start to fulfill the wcdma promises they made to the operators who are paying megabucks for spectrum (when they can get it) or the Q's preferred migration path starts eating away at their empire. >> They? The operators you are referring to created the standard. I mean Vodafone, TIM, DT, DoCoMo, et al. Now they have completed the standard, or should I say the first phase of a standard which will continue to evolve (by plan) through 2007. It is now up to the vendors to deliver to that standard. << The beauty is either way the Q wins! > That's right. The beauty is either way the Q wins! Thats why I am a Q long. << I know you profess to be long the Q but I, for one, don't believe it. >> Well, my entire port is in my profile, prioritized by the % it contributes. << We may see alittle pullback this week....would be a good time for shorts to cover <LOL> >> What is a short? Check my profile again. What is my "investment style"? - Eric -
