Eric L: You seem to be having fun.

Since you have considerable experience with real world standards bodies and regulators in many settings, where are speeds in current spectrum currently capped to your knowledge? And where these caps exist, are they cast in concrete? Also do you see new caps will be put in place outside Europe or in Europe?

And do you see these caps (where they exist)or may be adopted to force use of new spectrum, as serious impediments to 1X and 1xEV in current spectrum now (such as in Korea), next year (such as in Japan) and the year after (such as in the US)?

Assume you are making a point to counter "hype" in your view. But if you are suggesting that Qualcomm is pushing a string with 1X and 1xEV and they will be "capped" in current spectrum in any significant areas of the world, that is serious news - news that Qualcomm management seems unaware of or are you suggesting that the Q is simply going ahead blindly in the face of such roadblocks?

Best.

Chaz
