Hi John, excellent post. I think it is important that when one person does something wrong, it is not immediately assumed the entire Party is at fault. For example, you'll notice that Harris has done some things wrong which violate a few FL Statutes, however, I am very clear in stating that SHE did something wrong, not the Republicans. It would be unfair to blame the Republicans for something she did.

Both Parties consist of humans, and like humans, there will be some problems on both sides.

Regards,
Amy J

John:

re >>Democrats are inherently dishonest, republicans honest<<

I believe this is a 180 degree turnaround from your previous position and I congratulate you for doing so. Actually, I believe the majority of democrats are basically honest. In fact, this will prove to be a problem for the democrats as many of them see the deceit and treachery of the party activists in Florida and are embarrassed by it. Gore's people risk turning off the honest democrats.

Those activists seem to believe that their cause justifies actively recruiting the votes of convicted felons, while actively working to deny the right of U.S. Soldiers to have their votes counted.

If they run voter registration records against immigration and naturalization records I wonder how many legal aliens voted? A Miami newspaper did just that and found some that did vote. Unfortunately, the I.N.S. doesn't, by definition, have lists of the illegal aliens to check against voter registration listings.
