The one thing this has convinced me of is that Bill Clinton succeeded in driving the GOP insane. The GOP has actually turned into the monster that they accused Bill Clinton of being. Bending the truth, utlilizing angry rhetoric and propaganda, winning at any cost, having no respect for American institutions, etc etc. I wonder if the GOP will also be subjected to the kind of humiliation they tried to inflict on President Clinton. If they are, I doubt that they'll hold up much better than Newt.
