What in your opinion is the big fear for cellular. Who cares if we know there are "holes" in their coverage. Everyone with a cell phone knows that and everybody in the US knows someone with a cell phone. Why worry about G* for these "holes" when they charge 10 to 50 times that of cellular per minute? I just don't see them as competitors unless we are talking about the scenarios I mentioned in my last post.

are you the same tall blond we tried to coax over "from the dark side" many moons ago on the Iridium board? If so, glad to have you with "the force" (as peeter-puttering as this [sales] force seems to be now)...I've always respected your sincerity...

In reading your posts I was also thinking that, perhaps, in the minds of some upper echelon Verizon managers, Globalstar might be seen as a "distant" or future threat to their cellular business, only because the technology might one day eclipse cellular in price as well as performance...a complimentary technology turned dominant would not be something new in the world of technology. In your travels you've had no hint of that mindset...by anyone?
