Ike, I find it interesting that many people choose to forget that while Bush was Vice President, he defied the laws of Congress and provided support to the Contras in Nicaragua. To get the money, he sold arms to Iran, one of the main terrorist countries of that day and today. Iran had only recently held a group of Americans hostage for more than a year. Bush junior is far from clean. Read about how he and his buddies robbed the people who owned land around the Rangers stadium. Read about how he thumbed his nose at our SEC laws and sold stock in Harken Energy just ahead of poor earnings and then neglected to report the sale to the SEC. Of course, the head of the SEC at that time was a buddy of his dad, so, while others might have gone to jail, he wasn't even sanctioned. The Republicans are the pot calling the kettle black when it comes to campaign financing. Maybe one should look into the source of some of their campaign funds.
