You are speculating that significant populations of the absentee vote in Broward County are non military. Pure spin, without facts. I understand your desire to obtain that information, but when you ask "What military base is in Broward County?" in an effort to obtain an answer, I just wanted to point out that you are asking the wrong question. I think you understand that now, but are just too stubborn to admit to your previous state of ignorance and resort to being a high school grammar teacher instead.

But perhaps I am wrong. Why, then, is it pertinent to the constituion of the absentee population what military bases are in Broward COunty?

The Wall Street Journal is reporting today that about 1,420 overseas ballots have been rejected. I’ve heard larger numbers – in the 1,550 range – but we’ll stick with the WSJ here. Of those discarded ballots the WSJ says about 1,100 were military. Further, the WSJ reports that Bush is taking 63 percent of military absentee ballots.

That would mean that 693 votes for Bush were tossed.

(and 407 for Gore).

Also, boortz has a nice picture of Gore:
