Gore voters are older and as Cyberken could attest, we all know they are wimpier than Bush supporters. As such, they certainly would be more likely to not have the upper body strength to pop that cherry.


No, they're not. Remember the big surprise from the exit polls? Senior citizens went for Bush.

In Palm Beach County the original count was 63.76% for Gore and 36.23 for Bush. There were 892 votes gained on the recount. This means you would expect them to be divided 568 Gore, 323 Bush. But they came in at 787 for Gore. Run a statistical model on the chances of that happening at random. I can tell you that it's mighty slim.

Also, we're talking about the machine recount which should have read the chads the same way, like it did in most of the non-fraud counties.
