NTRS one of my favorites moving nicely into bullish buy zone. JNPR has been cut down to size as well as IWOV.. but I would not hold puts after the close unless the market internals revert to their earlier price levels.

Your expertise in T/A far exceeds mine, so I take comfort in playing the odds. The market for the short/intermediate term looks more favorable to me on the long side. So if I see an obvious overreaction on the downside for a particular stock with good fundamentals, I feel pretty confident in buying it. Of course how the overall market is doing has a big bearing on whether or when I buy it.

Regarding a catalyst, I am not sure there even has to be much of one. The Market often invents one.

For instance, many are talking about the likelihood of the Feds changing their bias next month. If enough "big boys" pick up on that theme, we could rally on that alone.

Or, if there is a favorable (for Bush) ruling that occurs after the market closes today, then that would be a positive surprise. If it goes Gore's way, I think the Market largely ignores it and the manual counts go on for another few days.

We'll see. But treading water with perhaps a slight upside bias toward the close today is what I would guess.

The big risk tomorrow could be what comes out of the NT analyst meeting.
