I used the punch ballot and it's easy. If you bottom the stylus a hole is punched. Any hanging chad is dislodged when the ballot is removed from the slot. The instructions also include to check the ballot after voting.

As far as the court of public opinion goes, most people are willing to acknowledge the winner. That suffices.........

They are willing to accept either Bush or Gore, despite that Bush has legitimately won the crown. It is a tactical win by Gore that keeps him in the running. I would love to see the GOP play the public as the Dems play it.
