That option would not be the most optimum, IMHO, due to the fact that the Chief Justice seemed to be primarily concerned with the timetable for the certification of the votes and the subsequent vote of the Electoral College.

A "better" solution would be to finish up the hand counts that are already underway, and then certify the election.

Understand that I am suggesting this after observing the proceedings and attempting to deduce what the court is concerned about.

Why should that SURPRISE anyone given that all those Supreme Court judges are democrats and have ruled in Gore's favors 3 times already, one without invitation I may add.
