Oh, who cares.

The important thing for Intel was getting the P4 launched.
They did. The chip has it's strengths and weaknesses. Now Intel has say 6-9 months to work on it and get a DDR and SDRAM chipset.
The hardest thing for Intel is how many of this iteration of P4 do they want to sell and how this will affect the P3.
They probably would have liked to bring the P4 along much slower...

Joey,

When AMD has 80% of the market and Intel is down to 20%, I will agree to hold AMD to a much higher standard, the one Intel as a market leader if failing to live up to.

For now, I am content with AMD grabbing unit and $ market share wherever there is an opportunity.
