Albert,

I'm laughing out pretty loudly down there... P4 sucks and AMD pulled an Intel by paper-releasing 760 and 1.2/266DDR T-Bird in order to have its scores compared for the P4's release. Paul'n'Elmo must be living what we felt when we saw 1.13GHz PIII winning almost all the benches until it's been recalled.

The only thing that seems right about the P4 launch is the availability (it's understandable... they had an extra month to set things up)

Max

albert, re:<Feibus expects < 500K units to ship this year>
Did you catch that superbear JJ expects 100K? So I expect Intel might make it to 200K, but I kind of doubt that many PC's with a P4 will have sold by the end of the year.
