Hi LG and all...

I used to be a frequent poster here, but haven't posted in many many months.

I will tell you why.

I found a method that works for me, and has worked for many many months...since late in 1999, as I remember.

I will share it with you all.

But first the premise:

In the giddy mania days, the NASDAQ made a very stupid decision. They created QQQ and filled it with happy stupid stocks with stupid valuations.

So I did this:

I shorted lots of QQQ and balanced that with an equal dollar amount of "longs" in the QQQ that I felt were reasonable "real companies" with reasonable (well, sorta, anyway) valuations. i.e.: no Yahoo, etc.; no silly PE's.

I've had that position for many months and it makes money (very good money, too!) most everyday.

I present this to you for your consideration.

Thanks again, LG...though I haven't said it in a long time...for a great thread!

best,

doug
