I respectfully disagree. America accepted the second recount because it is the law in Florida. After that, it should be over, except to wait for the absentee vote which everyone knew was for Bush. The manual recount only is required in cases of fraud or machine malfunction. Since there was no machine malfunctions and the Democrats are not alleging fraud, there is no need for a recount. Just because the Democrats say there should be one does not make it so.

On a side note, I wonder why Maine has a unique electoral vote. The winner gets the two votes every state has, and then the congressional district winners get that electoral vote. I like that idea, and think it should be given thought during Hillary's hearings. If that were the case now, there would be no question that Bush has received a mandate, at least according to this map of American counties and how they voted:
