Hi GZ, I think one thing is for sure. The Florida Supreme Court wants to ensure that their electoral votes count rather than default into the political abyss of congress! Their focus on due dates will yield a reasonable (vs continuous legal delay/appeal process that clinton/gore have mastered in the past) accountable procedure that will reflect the maximum representation of the people.I can live with that outcome all day long, I think that will be step 1 in rebuilding national pride in the system. It also appears that regardless of tactics - Gore won't get the votes. That will burn him and his relentless disrespect for some sacred national ideals,which have been treated as being lesser priorities than his personal/individual needs . JMHO Bob
