A kindred soul. Bob Brinker on the radio (very bearish now) says your goal is "critical mass"...the amount you need to be independent and live according to your own standards without depending on outside work or outside anything else. When you reach it, you put it out of harm's way, into money market funds or cd's or ginnie mae's if you trust them. I didn't. I feel terrible about that. Freeus
