Hi, Addi

In addition to Doug Norby, the CFO moving on, John Daane is also leaving. It has been my impression that Daane was the most capable of LSI's executives, and in-line to replace Wilf someday. I am not privy to any rumblings of anything untoward about these departures, but in this environment (not many buyers) any selling can drive the price down quickly.

Best regards,

Mike

Addi: Analysts are pimps whose job it is is to sell stocks. As such, over time they consistently overestimate a company's future profitability. In the aggregate for all companies, that would be about 25 percent, notwithstanding the fact that companies like Cisco consistently beat the street. And because they are overly optimistic, they look foolish when a market plummets, as it has done over the past eight months.

But they still are reliable indicators of a stock's movement within the overall context, and to play a "devil's advocate" role and bet against them is a sure way to lose.

As far as taking it personal, I have never taken anything on this thread personal, except for a remark that K The Investor made about my family, and even then I invited her sarcastic remark.
