Congratulations on your demonstrated ability to do simple arithmetic.

However, your analysis of power management is woefully incomplete. Have you bothered to compare amplification circuit usage? Hard disk drive power needs? Display power drain?

But I suppose in keeping with your attitude about financial terms (that anything with a dollar sign must be the same thing, as discussed here in message #15964) that you must regard all electronic circuits as equivalent.

Good job, Jon. Really in-depth analysis!

Somehow, I feel the need to repost my message #16068:

Jon Tara = Idiot

Now and forevermore.

Jon T. = Idiot or Moron? You Decide.

id·i·ot (d-t)
n.
A foolish or stupid person.
A person of profound mental retardation having a mental age below three years and generally being unable to learn connected speech or guard against common dangers. The term belongs to a classification system no longer in use and is now considered offensive.

mo·ron (môrn, mr-)
n.

A person regarded as very stupid.
Psychology. A person of mild mental retardation having a mental age of from 7 to 12 years and generally having communication and social skills enabling some degree of academic or vocational education. The term belongs to a classification system no longer in use and is now considered offensive.

Man, tough call.

I choose Gore - no wait - Bush - no wait Moron - No Wait - Idiot.

That's my final answer.

I think.
