I expected there'd be some benchmarks out there if someone dug deep enough. Basically they show that the P4 needs recompiling to shine. That's what I've been saying all along, however:

Perhaps you need to go back and read your own links. P4 wins most of those benchmarks. In #1 P4 wins 2 out of 3 over the P3. In #2 P4 wins 2 out of 3. In #3 P4 wins 2 out of 3. Yet you claim the P3 beats the P4 in all tests?

If you want to claim that a P3 will outperform a P4 in a few benchmarks when running existing applications then I guess you've made a point I never disputed in the first place.

You can run old applications. I will run new ones.
