If hand recounts are not as inaccurate as machine counts, then why did D-Dubya-I sign into law a bill allowing such? Was D-Dubya-I bamboozled? Or misled by Democrats? Or did he sign the legislation without reading it because he had a football game to watch?

Re: pregnant chads: They're only counted when there's one pregnant chad per presidential candidate. If there are two, or none, of four, then the ballot is tossed. This ain't rocket science we're dealing with here.

Regarding pregnant chads, if they are counted as votes, then all of the state's ballots must be retabulated by hand to see if there are any pregnant chads on ballots with holes punched. Such ballots would need to be recognized as multiple vote ballots and would need to be thrown out.

Really now, how many people do you think get up and go to the polls and stand in line to sign their name and get their ballot and almost push the stylus and then give up and go home?

You must be the product of vouchered schools.

TP
The presidental race is generally the first vote on the ballot. That is the time when people are least sure of how hard to push a stylus, it's not needlepoint you know.
