Richard,
I remember the APO #, but I didn't remember what it stands for. I do remember seeing the letters when I got back. Many had no post mark on them, and none had any dates. I was searching for some specific letters I had written and the lack of post mark dates made it more difficult.

I did not vote while I was overseas. I did spend a total of 3 1/2 years overseas in three different countries.
