wayne, agreed. the benefit of this view is that when you find yourself confidently digging a hole and suddenly realize it - you learn to put down the shovel and stop digging. ;-) i am very confident in those things that have produced positive results in the past. i guess the big benefit is that i'm willing to listen to new things (not just hear them) and marginally improve my game plan. then again, sometimes i have to throw everything out and start from scratch as i have done on several occasions. the bottom line: do the best you know how, improve on what you know you should improve on and continue actively approaching reality. no human being will ever understand reality in all its fullness. not even 1% of reality, imho. we are really, really small creatures when compared to reality. hey, not even the guys like eric that start their note to me by personal attacks, proceed to arrive at voodoo election statistics that he can't support and make claims irrelevant to the point in question can bother me. ;-)
