I'm sorry to hear it. zonkie, you are a good person, so I'll expound a bit. I joined this site when it was free. Back then the members policed the site for the most part. If somebody got out of hand, Jill was notified. To be quite honest with you, I never got along very well with Jill. She booted me off the site on three occasions, all three times was for attacking somebody that was a paid tout. All three times I sent her a polite email and explained the situation and she restored my membership. I assume that bigsablepoint will be back in three days. What I did was bait her because I had the idea she was a paid mole for a political party. That's against the law. When I reported her, I just pointed out some really vitriolic posts that I strongly objected to. If you have read my posts on this site from the beginning, you know that I love this site. I have met dozens of people here that I would never have met in my life. They are almost all good people. Some of them, unfortunately, are bad people. That's a fact. I strongly object to nasty personal attacks, and illegal activity on this site. Not because I have some connection to the owners, (I don't), and not because I have some hidden secret agenda (I don't) but just because this whole place is a bit like a family. Up to last week, all these objections to a few individual members focused on paid touts that were on this site to try and steal money from unsophisticated investors, and one psychotic religious guy that was calling people evil and telling me I was going to hell and just being mean and causing trouble. When I attacked him, he screamed bloody murder about censorship and First Amendment rights. Nobody has any First Amendment rights on this site. Not me, not you, not nobody. I look at this like my living room. If somebody comes in and spits on the couch, I don't want them there. I want them outside. bigsablepoint can go to some other site to spew her venom, that's fine with me. Last week, I noticed that there was a person on this thread that appeared to be here for one reason: to cause trouble and attack people who did not agree with her. These attacks were quite vitriolic, she used words like "gestapo", "nazi", and "commie" among others. It was quite obvious that there was no reason for her to be on this site other than to piss people off and cause trouble. So I reported her for TOU violations. I think she broke the law. I can't prove it, but I think she did. I then assumed she had been suspended, and it looks like I was right. I enjoy baiting and busting paid touts. For me, it's fun. When I actually am successful and get one tossed off the site, I feel good. I feel like the air on the site is a bit cleaner. That's as complex as it is. If I did something to personally offend you, I sincerely apologize for it, I certainly did not have that intention.
