Yes, I really do. Courts have been most consistent over the past decade or two regarding the sacredness of the "intention of the voter."

I was flipping stations pretty fast tonight ... Fox ... CNN ... MSNBC ... I think all the legal experts but one predicted that this would not get to the U.S. Supreme Court, because the court has been consistent over the past few years holding that elections are the bailiwick of the states, not the federal government. Boies also predicted that the U.S. Supreme Court would not be a player in the drama.

In the end, the Florida Supreme Court may well require Harris to accept the hand-counted returns with Gore as the winner.

If that happens, then the GOP will have lost the election because they were "out-lawyered" in Florida.
