Pat ... I offer these comments to you ====== having had a future ONLY account for nearly a year now and a good buddy whom I've known for many years who has both a future and an equity acct we're content with their operation. He is very easily upset with brokerages ... in the past three years he has had probably 15 accounts (one of which is the recently mentioned Feild) and has only 1 account right now (and for the past 10 months) other than IB.... and that is a future account to cover a position should IB be down, etc .... He has never used it for that reason and trades way more than do I .... I've witnessed money transferred between his accounts occur several times and money sent back to him .... all this happened with much speed ... he has also opened a futures account for his son and funded it with a transfer from one of his accounts and it opened the same day .... He has traded options and futures and equities ... I got him started with IB and he is very pleased .... hope this helps...
